New Government Water Tender

New Tender - 2010-11 Restoring the Balance in the Murray-Darling Basin water purchasing - Southern Connected Basin water entitlement purchase.
A new $40 million water purchase tender in the southern connected Murray-Darling Basin has been announced. The tender will open at 9.00am on Monday 21 February and will close at 5.00pm AEDST on Friday 4 March 2011.
In this Tender, offers to sell permanent water entitlements will be accepted from the following river catchments in the southern connected Murray-Darling Basin (the southern connected Basin); the New South Wales Murray and Murrumbidgee catchments; the South Australian Murray catchment and the following Victorian regulated catchments: Murray, Goulburn, Campaspe and Loddon.
It is important that those who may be interested contact the Service on 5022 0799 as soon as possible, as timeframes are tight, with only 12 days in which to submit offers.
