The role of the SunRCS Board is to provide sound corporate governance, accountability for government funding, employ staff according to need, meet all reporting requirements and ensure all statutory obligations are met. The Board is made up of agricultural, rural industry and community representatives. There are seven board members in total.
There are multiple Government programs delivered by SunRCS, including Small Business Financial Counselling, Rural Business Connections and SunRISE Mapping & Research. Rural Financial Counselling Service Victoria – North West was created under SunRCS’s umbrella specifically to provide a Rural Financial Counselling Service across North West Victoria. It is overseen by a Project Board, comprising the same seven board members as SunRCS.
